La Academia de Cine de Estados Unidos dio a conocer los candidatos a los premios que se entregarán en febrero. Joker, Había una vez en Hollywood, El irlandés y 1917 las películas con más nominaciones.


La película “Joker”, de Todd Philips, encabeza la lista de nominaciones de la 92° edición de los premios Oscar, que se realizará el 9 de febrero en el Teatro Dolby, de Los Ángeles, seguido por “El irlandés”, “Había una vez en Hollywood” y “1917”, con 10 candidaturas cada una.


Según se anunció este lunes oficialmente, en el rubro mejor película competirán “1917”, “Contra lo imposible”, “Jojo Rabbit”, “Joker”, “Mujercitas”, “Historia de un matrimonio”, “Había una vez en Hollywood” y “Parasite”.


“Joker” también está presente presente en las nominaciones al mejor director y mejor actor, a través de Todd Philips y Joaquin Phoenix, respectivamente; del mismo modo que “Había una vez en Hollywood”, con Quentin Tarantino y Leonardo DiCaprio; sin embargo, en ambos rubros aparecen rivales de fuste como los realizadores Sam Mendes y Martin Scorsese; y los intérpretes Antonio Banderas, por “Dolor y Gloria”; y Jonhatan Pryce, por “Los dos Papas”.


En la carrera por el galardón de Mejor Película aparecen: Ford v Ferrari, The Irishman (El Irlandés), Jojo Rabbit, Joker (Guasón), Little Women (Mujercitas), Marriage Story (Historia de un matrimonio), 1917, Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (Había una vez en Hollywood) y Parasite (Parásitos).


Joker, de Todd Phillips, figura como la más nominada con 11 postulaciones, seguida por Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, The Irishman y 1917 con 10 nominaciones cada una.


En la categoría de Mejor Director los nominados son Martin Scorsese (The Irishman), Todd Phillips (Joker), Sam Mendes (1917), Quentin Tarantino (Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood) y el surcoreano Bong Joon Ho (Parasite).


En cuanto a los protagonistas de los fimes, Cynthia Erivo (Harriet), Scarlett Johansson (Marriage Story), Saoirse Ronan (Little Women), Charlize Theron (Bombshell) y Renée Zellweger (Judy) compiten por el premio de Mejor Actriz. En tanto, Antonio Banderas (Dolor y Gloria), Leonardo Di Caprio (Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood), Adam Driver (Marriage Story), Joaquin Phoenix (Joker) y Jonathan Pryce (The Two Popes) lo hacen por el de Mejor Actor.
